HEYMOH is a rising force in Hawke's Bay's underground electronic scene, selecting an acid sound mixed with moody, high-energy grooves of dark disco, EBM & IBM, and dark, psychedelic & melodic techno. A sound that’s raw, hypnotic, dark and drenched in atmosphere, HEYMOH delivers sets that grip the body and stir the soul.

Starting on the dancefloor, HEYMOH spent countless nights fully immersed in the music. Losing himself in strobes, basslines, and the shared energy of the crowd. That pure connection with the sound and the community became the spark that pulled him from the floor to the booth. What began as a deep passion evolved into purpose: to feed that same energy back onto the dancefloor.

Lauren — Founder of Creative Embodiment is a 
Trauma-Informed Integrative Somatic Facilitator & Somatic Dance Facilitator. 

When I play, I take people on a sacred ritual journey through the medicine of sound. My intention is to ignite the body, awaken expression, and free you from the constraints of everyday life. I often begin with earthy rhythms…tribal and jungle house, deep EDM, celestial melodic techno, and progressive house…guiding you into your body and into connection with the pulse of the dancefloor.

From there, I flow into deeper, emotive grooves of melodic house, creating space for atmosphere, feeling, and embodied presence.

As the set builds, I love shifting into euphoric dance, trance, and techno, lifting the energy, opening the heart, and inviting those moments where the whole room breathes as one. I close with expansive beats: ethereal dance, textured electronica, and sometimes a touch of deep, grounding bass to bring you home again.

For me, DJing isn’t just about music…it’s about weaving rhythm, melody, and emotion into an experience that grounds, uplifts, expands, and unites.

20+ years on and my tastes have evolved from Detroit and Swedish techno, to European and UK Tech House, to where I sit now playing the worldly goodness of funk fueled and cosmic, bottom heavy Deep House, Melodic Techno and driving Tech, through to Drum & Bass which had a very heavy influence on me musically in the earlier years...

I cut my teeth at the now infamous club 'ORANGE' in Hawkes Bay (NZ) with our House & Techno night - PRIMARY FUNKTION & our Drum & Bass night - VOODOO.  My move to Wellington (NZ) allowed me to establish a musical relationship with hometown fave Leon Sebastian CODA for the 'bumping' S-ence parties held once a month @ the dance mecca 'SANDWICHES' - supporting the likes of Kenny Larkin, Kevin Saunderson, Ben Sims and Recloose to name a few...
 
Melbourne (AUS) was the next port of call, and once a job was in the pocket, parties, clubs and festivals allowed ample opportunities to keep the fire from my fingertips from being fanned. 

Now back home in HB, I can be found supporting various events held at Common Room, Cape Estate, Outfield and Arkadien.

MALWARE is a Wellington-based DJ with a passion for techno. Her sound is dark, powerful, and full of energy, with heavy drops and fast-paced transitions that light up the dancefloor.

Matt Drake has been igniting Aotearoa’s underground since the 90s: an artist, technologist, and architect of sound driving the evolution of electronic music.

His sets are high-tech rituals: deep, thundering basslines and celestial strings, colliding with mutating synths and rebellious rave energy, a hypnotic stream of house and techno built for the dreamers and the restless.

A pioneer of underground culture, Drake helped forge Nurture Recordings and Crucial Records, hosted Slipstream on George FM for over a decade, and carried his sound through clubs, festivals, and countless late-night frequencies, alongside some of the world’s most forward-thinking artists.

By day, Drake bends the future of music technology: a product designer with inMusic and formerly Serato, shaping the tools that shape the scene.
