Emmanuel Adam a.k.a. Imecka has been DJing, producing and organising events since the early nineties when he started playing as Draco in various venues in Lorraine, including L’Usine. 
He was involved in several electronic music collectives from 1995 to 2005 in Verdun, his home town, and founded the Nancy-based MELTING SOUNDS in 2007. From 2008, he organised and co-produced a range of electronic music events at L’Autre Canal (“Rex attitude” for the Rex club’s 20th anniversary, “Unit”, “Laurent Garnier L.B.S.”, “Censored with Max Cooper”), at l’Horloge Bar Metz (“Wake Up!”) as well as the Censored parties at L’Ostra in Nancy. 
His first techno tracks were released on Dootrecords, the Italian label managed by Mowree. Many others followed, on Lord Music, Five Star Digital, Take More Music Records and more recently on Frequency Shift Recordings and CSTM records. 
In March 2013, Imecka opened his own techno venue in Nancy: L’Ostra Club.  Many leading artists have played there since : Octave One, Dave Clarke, Dj Rush, Luke Slater, Kenny Larkin, Oscar Mulero, Christian Smith, DVS1, Len Faki, Oliver Huntemann, Stephan Bodzin, Silent Servant, Monika Kruse, Dj Rush, Anna, Rebekah, Marcel Fengler, Ben Sims, Electric Rescue, Maxime Dangles, Zadig, Traumer, Shlømo, Antigone, Johannes Heil, Dasha Rush, Mark Broom, Radio Slave, Drumcell, Truncate, Enrico Sangiuliano, Inigo Kennedy, Bjarki, Joey Beltram, Oxia, Cari Lekebush, Speedy J, Marco Bailey, Marc Houle etc…

The temporary closure of venues enforced since March 2020 has allowed Imecka to work on the launch of his label, T1-C7 Records, and the first release is planned for 2021. Several renowned French artists are involved in the project. Manu is looking forward to getting back on the decks at Ostra Club. Meanwhile, he is playing for Fnoob Techno radio on a monthly basis for his Ostra Club Mixes residency.
