Alfonso Ramírez, better known as Gonso, is a spanish producer and vinyl records collector born in Albacete (Castilla la Mancha, Spain). Since a young  age he had a passion for music in general, but black music (jazz, soul, funk, hip hop...) was the one that got this teenager involved. At age of 15 he was digging in the crates because he always wanted to become a producer. He admired the work of his greatest teachers Pete Rock, Q-Tip, The Beatnuts, Jay Dee, Lord Finesse, Diamond D, Roy Ayers, Donald Byrd, Cal Tjader, Ahmad Jamal, John Klemmer, Gary Bartz, Herbie Hancock, The JB's, Kool & The Gang, etc... Soon after, in the late 90s he begun mixing vinyl records and turntablism with his partner SoulHen and also bought his first samplers and drum machines like Yamaha SU 700, Akai S2000, Akai MPC 2000 XL... Since today. He has used every kind of mythical samplers (Emu SP 1200, Akai MPC 60...). He's 40 years old and he feels the same passion for music like he was 13, but with more maturity and exquisite music taste. He had worked with artists such as N-Wise (MDE Click), Juaninacka, Da Foury Bastards, Fernando Marquez, Daren Dog, Piel Roja SoulHen, Skill P, Zake...
At the moment he's working in his friend Bano's project, and a new project with his partner SoulHen where you will find collabos with Innersoul, Emskee (1/2 half of the Good People), Grap Luva (INI) and many more... Stay tuned!
