MXJ is a Canadian electronic music production and DJ duo made up of Marco Muraca, raised in Canada, and Juan Jaramillo, originally from Colombia.

Currently based in Hamilton, Ontario, MXJ brings a fresh and dynamic approach to dance music, blending their diverse musical roots into every performance. Juan comes from a classical background, formally trained in percussion, while Marco draws influence from his blues background as a guitarist. Together, they fuse live instrumentation with high-energy DJ sets, creating a hybrid experience that bridges musicality and club energy.

Their unique sound has taken them across the Greater Toronto Area and the West Coast of the U.S., with standout performances at renowned Canadian venues like Rebel & DPRTMNT and on the stage of one of Canada’s biggest festivals, VELD.

MXJ aims to connect people through rhythm, emotion, and momentum. With new releases with a fresh new sound collaborations on the way, they’re just getting started.
