Tomi had an interest in music from an early age, and started performing ​at​ talent shows​,​ local ​church​es​​​, and private events. Inspired by ​the late Phyllis Hyman​, ​​and​ ​others​,​​ ​her repertoire ranges from the likes of ​ Mary J Blige to Anita Baker.​
Born in Kentucky, Tomi Bell performed in numerous venues around the City locally, soon becoming one of Louisville's most sought after performers making a name for herself as the crowd favorite. After building a fan base in her hometown, Tomi Bell relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to continue on her musical journey which
landed her as an opening act​ performer for​ recording group​s​ such as ​​​Ray Goodman & Brown​, ​Confunkshun​, and opening performance in the Caribbean Jerk Festival featuring ​Reggae artist ​Luciano, and two performance slots in the Sweet Auburn Festival main stage. Following a string of performances in Atlanta and surrounding areas, Tomi Bell continued on her journey moving on to Las Vegas, Nevada.

As a member of The Las Vegas Mass Choir Tomi Bell performed Live on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Grammy Award-winning rock sensations Imagine Dragons. Mastering multiple styles of singing in genres such as pop, rock, jazz, and Motown. Tomi Bell is not only vocally versatile, but a true performer that takes the stage, captivates a room full of people, creating a reputation for being a great entertainer with the ability to build a strong following of fans who will continuously come back to see her show.
