A series of tracks composed for my honours year at the University of Western Sydney. All of these pieces explore the idea of states of 'in between' using looping, textural and timbral approaches and the use of quartal harmony to create a contemplative and mesmerising exploration of sound. Sounds Of In-Between

The first track from 'Sounds Of In-Between', an album investigating a 'vertical' approach to composition that negates a sense of time. All of these compositions are based on a quartal harmony approach, further enhancing a feeling of suspended time.
