Thorm is an electronic music french producer based in Paris starting back in 2014. Influenced by all the things life has to offer, his musical range can go from peaceful ambient and experimental sounds to Lo-Fi and dusky techno. Nicolas works a lot on the texture of the sound and on ambiences, drawing inspiration from movies soundtracks as well as modern and contemporary arts.

Transient is an immersive auditory journey of the unexplored frozen landscapes that lie just beyond the buzz and bustle of city life. Right from the opening track “85° 36′ S”, the sound space is ice cold, with textures of electromagnetic static and cryptic radio transmissions sprinkled like dust throughout each composition. Dark pulsating drones and undulating currents of electric hum envelop the listener, guiding them deeper into the experience. The album finishes with the triumphant “Atmosphere Observe” - an anthemic piece with swirling analog synth drones and tenacious percussion, closing with gentle static ~ Dawn H.

We’re super proud to welcome Rachel. this month — the protagonist of the 22nd episode of crying is softer than you think on Noods Radio.

Rachel., also known as Nicolas Jean-Jean, is a close friend who recorded Paturia in 2024 and is also known for running the label Run Level. He’s a musician and a person who inspires us deeply — not only through his talent but also through his kindness.

His latest album, released recently, reveals a singular musical vision — borrowing from ambient, glitch, hardcore, and other deconstructed genres. It blends elements that are at times obvious, at times more subtle, into a sound that is raw and condensed, yet remains poetic and sensitive.

This mix, much like his personality, is full of gentleness — perhaps tinged with a vision of discomfort that feels healing, even cathartic. It plunges us into a kind of melancholic adolescence, where neo-rock, ambient, glitch, and trip-hop collide to tell the story of a youth now gone.

Held in seams of remnants and decay, looped in tremors of glacial drones. Warmth - faded by the slowly setting sun - dissolving in a ritual of blending fragments & colliding as a whole, in tones, where absence and presence converge as tracing contours of vanishing gestures.

Natas Kunas is a Lithuanian composer and artist, primarily creating experimental ambient and drone music, film and theatre soundtracks. Through dense textures and timbre-based atmospheres the artist explores sound plasticity and radical dynamics, reflecting on the themes of geologic time, sonic environments, pollution. He will release his debut album on Amulet of Tears on May 8th.

Immersive love is a nostalgic tribute to the times of 2000s and the Netlabel scene. Back then independent musicians and music producers, used the internet to distribute their music without the intention of making a profit. They allowed other artists to use their music for free, which allowed them to express themselves without the constraints of the music industry. This passion for music-making spread to other musicians and listeners, leading to the formation of a network of labels and blogs that formed communities of individuals who created, shared, reviewed, and published the music of independent artists. However, the rise of social media and streaming platforms with algorithmic models led to a decrease in creative freedom and marked the end of this period.
