A sound engineer by trade and an audiophile by passion, he has been creating music for 10 years, with a focus on deeply psychedelic atmospheres filled with glitchy detail and organic elements.

Artemizia has had a love affair with bass & breaks for 20+ years and is a seasoned Drum and Bass DJ with 17+ years of experience, captivating audiences across New Zealand's vibrant club and festival scene. From humble beginnings in the underground Festival community, Artemizia's passion for breakbeat music led her to curate her own events and establish her own distinctive style.


In 2018, Artemizia made the pivotal move from Dunedin to Christchurch, propelling her DJ career to new heights. Embracing the city's thriving music scene, she quickly became a sought-after support act for both local talents and renowned international producers and has traversed the country sharing her sound. Sharing the stage with the likes of Goldie, Enei, Shapeshifter, Trei, Doc Scott, Kasra, Dillinja, Artificial Intelligence, Monroe, and A-sides, Artemizia's reputation as a formidable force in the Drum and Bass realm solidified.


What sets Artemizia apart is her ability to seamlessly blend new minimal sounds with the nostalgic essence of old skool jungle and tech step rollers. Her unwavering dedication to her craft and her innate ability to read the crowd have earned her a loyal following.
