Avantgarde Recordings, run by Italian pioneers Dabs & Grotesque, delivers a brand new view point from the world of jungle and drum and bass. With no preset goals in terms of genres or sound the label takes an open minded approach to releasing. 

Avantgarde aims to bring DJ’s and listeners the freshest skills and inspirations from all over the world.

I'm a musical  chameleon. I love all the new bass music stuff. Been singing in rock bands since I was a kid. Currently trying to get to grips with Abelton Live. Skrillex better watch out!

Oliver started his musical career at the early years of his adolescence. As a music and art lover he is strongly influenced by a huge variety of styles.

In 2008 founded the label LuvDisaster Records along with DJ Koiti focused on drum and bass style to promote Brazilian electronic music as well the revelation of new comers artists around the world.

His music has been played over important artists like Friction, DJ Marky, LTJ Bukem, Bailey, John B, LYNX, Patife, Random Movement and many more.

Amen & Love EP including the remix from the mighty producer and DJ – LYNX (LuvDisaster Records), Into Me incl. remixes from Physics and DuoScience (LuvDisaster Records), Your Love (Original Mix) into special 7x 12″ vinyl box set (Fokuz Recordings, 2015), True Love & Looking for Someone (Innerground Records, 2018).

Music Producer and Art Director he has focused his work on backstage music market promoting the lifestyle of electronic music.

MissFortune’s love for Drum n Bass and Jungle started back in the heady, pioneer days of the early 90’s, having been inspired to learn to DJ and get her first pair of turntables at 17 years old by the scene’s original pioneers, and attending legendary raves all over the UK such as Dreamscape, World Dance, Helter Skelter, AWOL to name just a few.
Since then, MissFortune's reputation as a DJ continues to grow; recognised for playing deeper, liquid, atmospheric DnB, with a dance-floor vibe. Her unique style has lead to a career spanning over 25 years, having played at some of the UK’s most iconic nights, venues and festivals, including Hospitality, Spearhead Presents, Circles, Random Concept, Jungle Mania, Detonate, LiquidSessions, Breakthru, Sublime DnB,  Intervention, Perception, Dance Conspiracy, Raiders of the Old Skool, Retro Trax Festival, plus international events and Label nights including Addiction Records in Poland, Plan B London, Motion Bristol, Que Club Birmingham, Unified Gears in Italy, a DJ residency at 5 star La Cameleon Hotel in the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Tribal Gathering Festival, Panama.  From 2011, MissFortune co-promoted Birmingham-based Liquid Sessions, the West Midlands premiere Liquid DnB night, including event collaborations with major labels such as V Recordings, and was a resident at Birmingham's leading DnB night, Circles, at the famous Hare N Hounds, King's Heath.
Hosting her own regular Radio Shows and doing guest appearances has been a big part of her life for many years, starting off with Pirate Stations and then internet radio from 2006, including stations such as Bassdrive, Kemet FM and co- founded Liquid Sessions Radio in 2013. MissFortune has had the pleasure of playing alongside many of her favourite artists and scene legends, including - Calibre, DJ Marky, Fabio & Grooverider, Lenzman, Bryan G, LTJ Bukem, BCee, Randall, Hype, Seba, Makoto and many, many more. In 2015, MissFortune founded and launched Future Sounds Radio.com - 'the future sounds of DnB internet radio, playing 24/7 DnB world-wide',  to help provide a community for fans, and a platform for the scene’s leading and up-coming, labels and producers.
