Brussels based electronic artist Raär announces the launch of he’s new record label, Soin Recordings with a first self release.
This release marks a new beginning with a distinct musical and visual direction for the producer, combining all his different inspirations and a stellar association of sounds across the spectrum of IDM and modern techno.
Raär’s unique productions are forming a cohesive language to truly present the vision of his musical compositions.
Soin Recordings first release features lush and spacious ambiences, heading from nostalgic ambient towards fast and modern grooves of nowadays techno while retaining his distinctive gloomy sound design signature. This new imprint will host Raär's own productions and will be a new medium of his creations.

‘Limbic sequence’ is a four track split EP from budding Australian producers Cobber, E-file and Hasvat Informant. The project explores feelings of emotional dislocation, products of a hyper-functionalism accelerated by pandemic culture. Impetus_001 evokes this intensity sonically across 4 dancefloor oriented tracks, integrating peripheral genres of the hard, deep and hypnotic techno styles to form the aesthetic focal point of the release.

What inspires your creative work?
Little glichtes or stumbles that I've never heard before that make a song interesting.

What is your motivation/intentions?
Just having fun? I am Djing for 9 years now and never saw it as a career or anything. I am always humbled if someone wants to book me. There is so much talent out there!

What was your first genre that caught your interest in music?
I think back in the days it was probably New Rave, French Touch, Future Garage and all this weird and short-lived crossover genres that made me turn to electronic music. Before I listened a lot to Soul, RnB, Jazz and Rap.

What is/are your most memorable moment
That’s really hard to pin down!

Describe your style in a tweet 
Oi... I’ve been playing Rap music, Jazz, Techno, House, Bass.....idk.... I am always evolving and easily bored. But currently I like to play Progressive House with my Galleur alias and very hard hitting Trance with my b2b project Surf 2 Glory.

Name your funniest playlist name.
I always sort everything by genre. Therefore, no funny surprises.

According to you, which upcoming artists should we keep an eye on?
THC, Malugi , Sedaction, Ttyfal, Evin, Zeynep, Ferrari Rot , Jessica Nightlife , Zips, DHC, Sanaz

What are your thoughts on interdisciplinarity?
We should all support each other. As soon as I dig someone’s character, energy or work, I should be supportive. Nothing else.
