Delighted to share our third instalment of the series coming from Romanian talent and London resident, matje.

Recorded live at an Into The Woods boat party in London earlier this year, matje has served up a 2 hour special, showcasing his talent to it’s full extent.

His productions have been released on a number of labels including Equinox, Arupa and Otaku, and also independently on his bandcamp page. 

Matje’s work in the studio is informed by his capabilities as a DJ, with weird and wonderful rolling grooves overlaying to create a textured, micro-house aesthetic. As stated by Meoko, ‘his sets sound like submersions into unknown worlds where it is extremely easy to get lost’.

We got lost, and we’re not quite sure how to get out…

For our closing podcast of the year we received something special. An own production set yet unreleased made by @shato1881 native from Samara City, Russia. The talented producer is known for his deep minimalistic sound, which has led to releases on labels like at [flåt], Jikan Records and soon on Implimind. Besides, he has his own label called ‘ @1888_records ’ and has a lot of work on his private SoundCloud page too. 

Sható takes us on a journey which can be seen as a direct reflection of his mind. We don’t have much to say, but we let the composer do the talking. Enjoy his one hour trip!

First podcast by Jos Lok who released on archipel in the last years and is also a close collaborator to Pheek's studio.

Jos lok is a Techno and House producer from Groningen, the Netherlands.
Jos Lok is a DJ and producer residing in the beautiful city of Groningen, the Netherlands. Jos has been obsessed with rhythmical sounds from a young age. He naturally started moving his feet or nodding his head when hearing even a hint of groove. Not only catchy percussion caught his attention, deep emotional chords and melodies were also very welcome. As a result of his encompassing love for music, Jos started playing the drums when he was nine years old. After a few years of going through the metal music repertoire and playing in a band he acquired a new taste in music. His focus was redirected to Techno music back when he first entered the club and festival scene. Evidently, he started producing his own Techno and House. A stripped down beat, groovy bass and just the right chords or another melodic component is the perfect formula for inspiration for Jos.
Nowadays, Jos Lok manages to make a wonderful blend of minimalistic sounds and House music. His style can be distinctly categorised by its aim for innovation. His tracks can be described as a colourful story that progresses into a strong groove. His music has been released on labels such as Archipel and Vivus records. Jos Lok receives support from artist like Pheek, Christhoper Ledger, David Gtronic and Noah Skelton.

For the 45th edition of our podcast series, we present a pure micro/minimal house act coming from Croatia under the name Robertescu. Born in the 2000 and started getting interested in the electronic music at the age of 13. Went through a lot of genres by the age of 20 and then decided to get a controller and a pair of turntables to train his vinyl skills.
