Two friends wanting to mix their time-consuming passions that are video games and music.

The objective of Double Dash is to make you dance on 8bit sounds and filled with nostalgia of the 90s, sprinkled with acid line and powdered with speedy kick.

Infractions Series 009 | DOUBLE DASH (all i want for new year is Memory Card 32Mo (RECOVERED))

@Cunningham-uno 's computer has crashed, and all of his work vanished into thin air. After fixing his hard drive and rebooting his system, a new file appeared on his desktop. It was labeled "WD/400". Immediately a strange, ethereal sound filled the room. Over time, Cunningham found himself drowned in to the sounds of WD/400. Days passed by and the program began to evolve and started to create entire songs. But then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, it started to delete its own creations. It created thousands of tracks and then erased them as if it was dissatisfied with the results. WD/400 continued to create and delete. And then, one day, it all came to an end. WD/400 stopped working altogether, leaving behind only one file labeled "warfare 00[un]" with a pinned text document, that states "Do not allow yourself to be programmed".

Mental Breakbeats EP is the artist’s third EP consisting in 3 tracks that go from dark techno to intelligent drum’n’bass which focuses on deep electronic ambiances either in a dark or chill mood, melted with breakbeats. Through a series of long, static and immersive pads the main goal is to express the psychological journey of 3 different trance mental states, which go from the most irrational (expressed with darker pads) to rational ones, where the perception of time is totally dilated.
In contrast with the slow tempo perception every track is also driven by rave fasty beats.

The sound of knarzy, producer and live performer based in Bologna, Italy, embraces every shape of the rave culture, blending the dance-floor in so many confusing and different ways. The artist’s first EP called MVMNT EP was released in 2020 under the independent label Timeless Records and was a mixture of different dance-floor styles from the most brutal acid house to the chillest house.

Get ready to turn up the volume and bust a move, because SNCD03 is about to drop! The record is the brainchild of Vancouver-based DJ and producer Garneau and SNC Records.
Garneau burst onto the scene with his debut EP "Old School" in 2018, and he's been slaying the game ever since. He's worked with some of the best in the business, including Paris Mitchell, DJ Deeon, and DJ Slugo, and now he's teaming up with SNC Records to deliver a record that's nothing short of mind- blowing. The idea for SNCD03 came about during Garneau's visit to the label in October ‘22, during a stay in Europe. The creative juices started flowing, and they quickly realized that the collaboration was a match made in musical heaven, and the result is a record that's memphis-inspired, and full of dynamic beats that'll keep you grooving all night long.

"We had an amazing time working with Garneau," said Valentin from SNC Records. "The EP is a true representation of the magic that can happen when creative minds come together, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world."

Garneau – Saturn (SNCD003) [PREMIERE]

Alex Wilcox is a distinctive and quirky DJ/producer and live artist whose unique take on electronic music has welcomed curiosity and intrigue from a wealth of leading talents within techno, electro and leftfield territories.

From his early days assisting and editing for platinum-selling pop talent Pinkslip through to his time at UR headquarters Submerge alongside the legendary Mike Banks, his entry into electronic music from initial beginnings in rock music signalled the start of a path to explore, warp and reshape the conventional boundaries of traditional genres.

Fusing his own brand of eclectic club music with a self-described style of DJ sets that come as a ‘genre-less, chaotic whirlwind’, it’s no surprise that his next adventure finds a perfect home on Bjarki’s re-launched bbbbbb recors - a label known for entrancing, idiosyncratic future-focused output without limitations from distinctive talents across the globe.

“When I first approached Alex about releasing on bbbbbb, he reminded me, "I sent you those tracks years ago”. I regret overlooking them. That mistake won't happen again. I'm thrilled to include him in the bbbbbb narrative. His music exudes a punk essence and undeniable quality.
Alex also has a playful side, which is refreshing. I've grown weary of the prevailing scene. The stereotypical, intense techno DJs are resurfacing, making it even more special to have Alex as part of our label's fresh lineup.
