Deep Ghosh recently moved to Amsterdam to start a new professional chapter his space engineering life (working at the European Space Agency and looking after environmental monitoring missions), but over the last couple of years has been working on his newly coined role as a 'rave engineer' (or as he jokingly refers to it as the '5 to 9'). Deep is one of the curators of the Flow Sessions long-format 3:33hr mix series, co-creator and organizer UTOPIA Festival, veteran burner (Burning Man, AfrikaBurn, KiezBurn) and active in the Berlin and Amsterdam Burner communities. In between all this, he also enjoys DJing occasionally (on land and sea)

"I am happy to say I was able to finally take a moment and breathe, and make a little 2-hour story of some of the music that I got to discover and share over the last 6 months: starting with dismal winter lockdown and curfew in Amsterdam, to surviving in sweaty office kitchens, secret speakeasies and finally freedom under the blue skies, skirting the turquoise waters of the Red Sea teeming with life, and the Martianesque mountains of the Sinai Peninsula. The last 3 months I got to spend returning to Egypt multiple times was the truly reinvigorating and creatively recharging gift of 2021, as I returned to take on a dystopian castle adventure with my friends at UTOPIA, and help bring our culture back to doing what it does best: spreading joy and love through music, dance, and community. So much more awaits!

For me, music has always served as an audible journal entry, an irreplaceable bookmark on a moment and experience, and an instant memory trigger. This particular journey is a deeply personal one, and emotes where I have been lately (introspectively and otherwise): personally, mentally, emotionally, and a musical nod to some of the incredibly talented humans I recently connected with on my travels to Egypt. I hope you enjoy this peak into my diary before we reunite on the dancefloor soon and write some more chapters together (be it on a boat, in the mountains, a magical castle, or a DTLA rooftop). "

Her passion for music began as a child, when she played the piano. Then after visiting the legendary Arma17 in Moscow her passion for electronic music started to grow. 

She believes that music is an incredible tool that can control your mind and immerse you in a meditative  state of flow, peace, joy and happiness.

Her performances are always a unique combination of different music genres united by one thought: from slow mystic downtempo and chillrave to the groovy sound of progressive/melodic/deep house/indie dance and minimal/deep tech/tech house. She also started her journey as a producer and plans to release some of her works next year.

Katya is a frequent guest in famous bars and clubs in Moscow, such as Keanu, Community, Treff8, Mutabor and music festivals in Turkey."

We’re still glowing from all the magical sets, the little details, and the memories that keep playing like a sunrise after a long night.
To open the Rummelplatz on that sunny, burning Sunday was not only a great honor, but truly an inner blossoming of joy. 🌸 And a heartfelt thanks again for the soundcheck, which gifted us a few extra minutes of bliss.

This was an incredible experience. It was not just playing a DJ Set on an island in Poland with lovely people all over the place. I mean, that's enough though, but this time I got the chance to embrace myself in a different way. Playing naked infront of a naked crowd was something new and looking back I couldn`t be more happy about the result. A chance to put my shame and thoughts aside and just be there with the music. Thanks to Danielle for the invitation and the trust to let me  start the Naked Tea Party with my Set, and everybody who came to dance ;-)
