Folklore Tapes Present a new Radiolore Series, The Lost Tapes Record Club

A series of four EPs curated by members of the band Clinic  and presented by the Lost Tapes Record Club.  Containing tracks pertaining to a unique project based around ethnographic radiolore and  surrounding the Dorset town of Symonsbury.

Commissioned by Danish performance group Hotel Pro Forma to write the music for their opera based on Charles Darwin and his book 'On the Origin of the Species', The Knife decided to make this a collaborative process, working with artists Mt. Sims and Planningtorock for the first time, to capture the huge width of the Darwin and evolution theme.

Benzaiten is an In C style homage to the the classic Osamu Kitajima record of the same name. The Acid Mothers Temple covers the title track and reprise using Kitajima's original composition as a departure point to explore the outer realms of AMT territory. Further instrumental explorations reveal textures of the original composition while launching out further into the cosmic domain. Numerous Acid Mothers original tracks are scattered in between.
