Whether immersing the room in dubbed-out, deconstructed soundscapes or driving it with minimal, beat-driven tracks, 320 strikes a delicate balance pulling deftly from the sounds of the underground while remaining always on the nose. His ambient sets develop atmosphere through contemporary sound design and soft-touch melodies. In club settings, deep-tech and rolling basslines move the room with intricate rhythms and light-handed shifts in mood. 320 is a co-founder of Brooklyn-based ambient/experimental showcase Ballet.

Cericyan is an ambient / experimental producer based in NYC and recently completed an ambient mix that feels closely aligned with our focus on natural atmosphere and experimental sounds. Its heavily inspired by both nature and memory. Field recordings and fragments from film and media are a core part of his practice. His mixes are an extension of this, merging both established and emerging artists into a narrative arc.

Alongside the project, he serves on the board of No Signal NYC, a platform supporting New York’s electronic music community through live broadcasts and community programming. Being part of this network has been a great source of inspiration and support!

q) where are you located and which places do you like to go there?
a) I live in NYC, which has so much to offer! I love checking out live music and galleries, and relaxing at parks and the beach during the summer.

q) can you remember what inspired you when you were mixing?
a) Forests in Upstate New York and memories of growing up in the Midwest 

q) what projects are you currently working on?
a) I released my first EP in January and am laying the groundwork to release a second one this year. I also hope to start performing live in the near future! 

q) what else is important to you in life besides music?
a) Family, friends, nature, and meditation 

q) last question. what do you like to eat or drink?
a) One of my favorite meals is pizza with caesar salad and a negroni!
