26 years in the making... DJ Denise & DJ ICON team up for the first time ever for a very special B2B set at the Friends & Family Fall Classic Campout at Spinning Wheel Yosemite on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Starting from the San Francisco underground rave era in the mid-to-late 90s when female DJs were few and far between, these two legendary powerhouse ladies have been forging their own separate paths but have supported each other's journeys and became good friends along the way so this first-ever collaboration is extremely meaningful and overdue. They had an amazing time rocking this banging Bass House & Tech House set surrounded by love and community and now you can experience the magic they co-created.

Nowadays, finding a good full-length album is challenging, which is a real shame. For decades, the LP was a beacon of artistic intention, but streaming platforms like Spotify have reshaped the way music listeners engage with music. To hold attention, it needs to stand out. It needs dynamics. Thankfully, 'Nostalgia,' the new Alex O'Rion full-length, does just that. We had an illuminating conversation with the producer about what makes this album such an essential listen.

Cloud City is a new crew launching a Bay Area Hi-Fi Vibes, Zero Proof party for those interested in something different and pure of sound and heart. I had the privilege of being one of the first chosen to launch this incredible adventure into playing music where the theme is "Play what you aren't able to play out to crowds normally." While I definitely would play some of these tunes out, it's not often I would get to - lots of indie dance and swirling melodies/beats in and out of all dance genres. Hope you enjoy the mix as much I did making it!

Cloud City is a Bay Area zero-proof party. The recordings didn't come out so well and I finally had time to rerecord it and post it. The first Cloud City event was awesome! Such a good vibe all day. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was a great homage to a warm summer (though the day of was the coldest day all summer - go figure!) Really looking forward to the next one!
