Lab Sessions Live Alongside Impression 5 - 1-22

Based out of Leon, Mexico, Viewer returns to Smooth N Groove with another epic release. Back in 2018 Smooth N Groove received their first demos from Viewer, quickly followed up by his first release 'Spectre' EP. Fast forward four years and Viewer continues to make his mark on the scene with releases on well established labels, from the likes of L.A based Soul Deep Recordings to Liquid Drops.

The 'First Date' LP showcases Viewers latest productions and those all important signature vibes. Taking inspiration from jazz and soul Viewer immerses you in a sea of deep musicality. The title track 'First Date' features an addictive funky bassline and pristine drum work. Each track has its own highlight including collaborations alongside fellow countryman, Pardelluchs and well established Norwegian producer, Fishy.

Once again Smooth N Groove are proud to present the sounds of Viewer. His 'First Date' LP will be available exclusively via the Smooth N Groove Bandcamp, May 26th, prior to general store release. We look forward to more from Viewer as the talented producer continues to deliver tune after tune!

Impression is a DJ and producer currently residing in Saint Augustine, Florida. In the last few years, since the pandemic, he has truly found his sound within the realm of smooth, vibey, rhythmic Drum & Bass. He recently has released tunes on several prominent labels such as Fokuz, Celsius, FX909 Music, Soul Deep, Headsbass, Influenza Media, Soul Trader, Liquid Drops, Theoryon Records and Rolled Up Records. On top of that he has recently contributed music to the charity Liquid Drum & Bass 4 Autism presents: 'USA vs. U.K. A friendly Exhibition', 

Growing up in South Florida in the peak of the rave wave of the 90's he found himself inspired by this movement and became co-founder of the Y.O.U. crew. He established several residencies over the years and shared the stage with the biggest and greatest names in Drum & Bass. In 2008 he partnered and launched the label 'Urban Chemistry' under the name 'Fusion' and released tracks with DnB greats like Stunna, Submorphics, Command Strange and Mutt just to name a few.

Around this time Impression also started a weekly show on Bassdrive.com called 'Lab Sessions' which has been running deep for almost 17 years. With roots in the culture that span from Florida to all parts of the globe he has truly curated his sound and much like his production, his DJ sets and mixes are sure to deliver deep soulful vibes with funky progression and smooth, intricate blends. A crowd pleaser every time.
