For the last Glitch podcast of 2022, we have invited one of the most promising dj/producers around: Chlär (@chlaer). Since his first release in 2018 on Bipolar Disorder, the Swiss artist has taken the scene by storm with his well-crafted productions and releases. His sets are direct crowd-galvanizers with technical and forward-thinking blends of grooves, always improvising through relentless 3-4 decks action as you can experience in this brilliantly crafted mix.

Over the course of an hour, Chlär takes us on a tight but adventurous trip through atmospheric and organic cuts to straight forward, tribal, groovy and ghetto infused Techno rollers that will keep you on your toes.

Heute erzählen wir euch ein bisschen was über Einzeller. Wer jetzt mit einem spannenden Biologiexkurs in die Welt der Amöben, Archaaen und Bakterien gerechnet hat wird leider bitter enttäuscht, aber zumindest einen Fun Fact wollen wir euch nicht vorenthalten. Der größte Einzeller der Welt ist ein Schleimpilz mit dem wohlklingenden Namen Physarum polycephaluma. Er kann den kürzesten Weg in einem Labyrinth finden, wurde schonmal zur Steuerung eines Schleimpilzroboters verwendet, das größte Exemplar war 5,5 m² groß und er wurde von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Protozoologie  zum "Einzeller des Jahres 2021" gekürt. Der Einzeller um den es hier aber eigentlich gehen soll ist nicht ganz so groß, würde vielleicht schon auch irgendwann aus einem Labyrinth rausfinden, hat aber soweit wir wissen noch nie einen Schleimpilzroboter gesteuert. Für uns ist er trotzdem jetzt schon der "Einzeller des Jahres 2023", egal was die DGP dazu sagt. Er hat nämlich den unschlagbaren Vorteil, dass er nice Musik auflegt und uns für diese Woche eine Flausette aufgenommen hat. Die nimmt euch mit auf eine groovige und hypnotische Reise in die wunderbare Welt des Detroit Techno und da freuen wir uns persönlich sehr drüber und ihr bestimmt auch. Nach vielen Jahren in Göttingen hat sich der gute @einzeller08 übrigens vor einiger Zeit nach Bonn verkrümelt, wo er jetzt zusammen mit dem @kollektiv_c13 nice Raves veranstaltet. Wenn es euch also mal nach Bonn verschlägt, schaut auf jeden Fall nach, ob die lieben Leute da gerade zufällig ne Party schmeißen, es lohnt sich.
Das unfassbar schöne Diskettendesign kommt übrigens auch aus Bonn und zwar von Ricarda, die nebenbei auch noch ziemlich fette Tattoos sticht (Insta: ricarda.malika)
An dieser Stelle auch noch gleich ein kleiner Disclaimer: Die Bilder zu den Flausetten sind keine digitale Kunst, sondern wirkliche, echte Disketten, die von echten Menschen bemalt, beklebt und gestaltet und anschließend von uns fotografiert werden. Das war wohl einigen Menschen noch nicht so ganz klar. ;)

Leur style se définie par une techno influencée par les années 90, les rythmes tribaux, mais s’inspirant également des grooves de la funk ou du jazz rock des années 70. Tout en veillant a laisser une place majeure à l'émotion et à l’énergie transmise lors de leurs sets.

Roku was formed back in the early 2000's by Ben Sims and Mark Broom. The 6 deck duo played at legendary clubs such as Liquid Room, The Orbit, Monegros Festival, Retrovert and Fabrik.

This is a recently unearthed and unreleased studio practice session from 2006.
