First up is ARX099 – a powerful new remix of Kemal’s classic ‘Animation’ from boundary-pushing producer Silent Extent. Breathing new life into the revered 1999 original (ARX005), Silent Extent reimagines it with brooding atmospherics, razor-sharp edits, and his signature attention to sonic detail. The result is a hypnotic, forward-thinking take that stays true to the track’s legacy while firmly planting it in the now.

Originally released by Kemal (aka Konflict), and later remixed by Kemal & Rob Data as ‘Re-Animation’ (ARX007), this track has long stood as a blueprint for dark, futuristic Drum & Bass. Silent Extent’s version honours that while taking it into deeper territory.

Founded in 1997, Architecture Recordings remains at the forefront of experimental Drum & Bass, known for championing cutting-edge sound from both established icons and fresh innovators.
