Formed in 2023, Amadis is the brainchild of Carlos de Jesus and Romain Gutknecht, a duo that harmonizes the electronic beats of their DJ pasts with a novel, instrumentally rich present. Rooted in Switzerland and drawing inspiration from their Portuguese and Brazilian ancestries, they craft a sound that's a tribute to their heritage and a nod to their strong electronic background.

The band's commitment to blending acoustic elements with electronic-pop creates a vibrant, unique soundscape, marking their transition from energizing DJ sets to a more nuanced, culturally infused musical narrative.

The band plans to release "Upside Down" in 2024. This album promises a rich tapestry of sound, expertly merging electronic-pop with the diverse rhythms of world music.
