Landscape I.

Seagull was kind enough to share a childhood memory with me of fishing boats with old spark plug engines, the scent of the sea, the sound of gulls looking for a meal, all of which he had put into a lovely musical portrait.  It is a different world compared to the childhood I had growing up in suburban Denver, Colorado.  Now with us both in our later years we get to meet on this wonderful platform called Soundcloud, and I asked if I could tag along with him as he shared this lovely memory. I cried right through writing these words. I cried through playing the song. Some might look at that and think I should head for a looney bin. Here's the new normal....That's called real emotion and that's called showing people it's ok to feel it deeply and that's called not giving a shit about showing people that because we should not be afraid of our emotion. When we don't fear to feel then we find new power and music or new music we need to teach children to feel themselves and be honest with those feelings as they will find their true selves younger and EVOLVE
