I Am The Good Shepherd

I wrote this song after an in-depth conversation with my mother who spent years searching for her mother.  It's in 7/8; perhaps reflecting the irregularity of relationships.

I've only just met her, she is 84 0r 85

given to nuns in Bloom Street
Manchester in 1940, I was one of many a child and mother
sent from Catholic Ireland
