The aim of Dwarfed is to create a conversation about redefining the fairy-tale genre to focus more on empowerment, independence and fighting back against the patriarchy.

The first release for Trouser Dress is an incredibly catchy uplifting singalong tune that will have you sticking it on repeat for days on end!
Being genderqueer in a world that seems so obsessed and complicit with the gender binary is draining and can be isolating if you don't have the right people around you. Support groups for non-binary people are few and far between,- I couldn't just find this space, I had to find others like me and we had to build our own space from nothing, and that's what this song is about. I wrote this song about my own feelings towards my gender identity with the hopes that someone else out there might feel the same, and be comforted that they aren't as alone as we can sometimes feel when we have to fight to be recognised for who we really are.

Why Do We Hold (Resurrection) is the 6th track on the IRIS album HOAA: Resurrection, it is a remake of the song of the same name, it was originally remade in 2019 for HOAA: Reignite, but the album was cancelled.

The remake was teased in the album announcement video on March 22nd, 2023, and in a tweet after the video was published, Will stated that it was the first song completed for the album. 

"So far only one song has been finished up, and it’s the song you heard in the teaser!"

The song was then surprise-released on March 28th, 2023, and released on streaming services on March 30th, 2023.


IRIS - Why Do We Hold (Heart Of An Artist: Resurrection) 2023

Dandelion & Burdock is a song about my personal growth and how I have learned more about myself and where I stand than I ever thought I could. I have had most of my family and friends stand beside me and support me in my identity, although I have lost people along the way. This song describes my relationship with my dad and how growing older took away the rose-tinted glasses I saw him through. Musically, the song acts as the bridge between the style I preferred when I was younger and the style that fits best now. 
A quote that embodies my feeling for this song is ‘Growing up and seeing your parents’ flaws is like losing your religion, I don’t believe in God anymore. I don’t believe in my father either.’ Nicola Yoon, The Sun is Also a Star.

This EP is heavily inspired by Hotline Miami, and the artists who did music for the game. My favorites of which, happen to be french! So I suppose this is inspired by french electronic music as well.

I tried to be varied, while still fitting the same tone and feel for the songs. I feel like some tracks are more repetitive than I like, but I still think I like this EP as a whole.

This song was a commission!
It’s supposed to be a little ominous but heroic, the commissioner wanted me to use piano, violins, and percussion primarily.
I think it turned out pretty well, i did some experimenting with new time signature tricks and chord progressions, and i made a lot of use of some of the new instruments i got from Absolute 3.
You might notice this song doesn’t sound very Touhou-ish, i’m trying to be a little more versatile lately.

I want to express my thanks to the people who supported me financially through commissions and my Patreon, i think this song wouldn’t have had the same feeling if it weren’t for some of the new instruments i was able to afford thanks to their help.
I also want to thank everyone who enjoys my music in general, even if you cannot support me financially, love is a power that transcends the material world.
