Some say that he caused the Big Bang by falling down some stairs, which is impressive because the concept of a staircase wasn't to be invented for 13 billion years.

“You Can't Stop Being Anything” is the newest release from Sean Jackson's project, Laika, The Astro-Hound.
Jackson's songs are about vulnerability, how to embrace uncertainty, and how to live a life worth living.

Sean grew up playing at shows in firehalls, VFWs, and small clubs throughout the country with multiple bands in the early 2000s.  Drawing musical inspiration from bands like Sonic Youth, Cat Power, Sebadoh, and the Shipping News, Sean's first band embraced punk sensibilities while maintaining their own sound and style.  After graduating high school in 2004, Sean eschewed the traditional paths of college and career and instead toured the country with his band.

 He and his friends referred to their local scene as a "punk" scene, although nobody could really agree on what that meant, and every band embodied it differently.  The underlying message was always the same, however: support each other and celebrate our differences as well as what we have in common.  
These ideals and ethics formed Jackson's life-long moral compass.  

Jackson's formative years and early adulthood were defined by loss.  After losing his sister to a rare form of cancer when he was five, he learned to never take life for granted.  His mother unexpectedly passed away when Jackson was in his late 20s.  He turned to music to work through his grief and honor his mother and sister through song.

Laika, The Astro-Hound's songs are meant to reflect several emotions: fear, grief, anxiety, vulnerability, and the determination to accept or overcome them, because we could all be gone tomorrow.

Jackson is a happily married near 34 year old man who is grateful for every day.

The Polites were formed in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2014. The band’s music style ranges from a wide range of Rock and Roll. With inspiration from artists such as: Slash Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators Velvet Revolver Guns N' Roses Queens of the Stone Age Stevie Ray Vaughan Jimi Hendrix Mötley Crüe Ghost Sex Pistols Weezer and more.

Each band member has musical experience with different bands and projects of over 15 years and have also played international gigs in USA, Mexico, Central and South America. 
In June 2020, “ Blow My Mind “, debuted as a single on Ecuador’s Radio show: @Area51RockShow of Radio Vision. Their song “ Pushing “ debuted on national radio on @Area51RockShow in July 2020. Both “ Sunshine Road “ and “ The Plot “ are on rotation on Ecuador’s RADIOCITY89.3 and WQRadio.
