When two titans of Malaysia's trance world combines, you can be sure that something huge is going to be unleashed! IMX Projext is the latest project from misterAriffin & Adham Nasri, two of the biggest trance names in Malaysia collaborating and bringing their own individual sound and fusing it together to create an eclectic sound of driving, percussive, 'slaying' kind of trance that transcends the boundaries of genres.
These dynamic duo is a household name in Malaysia trance scene. misterAriffin; an accomplished pianist; has literally graced all of the huge festivals and clubs in KL such as FMFA, ASOT, THIRST; Zouk Main room, Ministry of Sound, Vertigo; and have shared the decks with literally all of the biggest trance acts in the world. While Adham Nasri, on top of playing in some of the biggest festivals in KL, he was crowned the best Malaysian Trance DJ in Choons Awards twice (2012-2014). Besides being a renowned producer, Adham is also a well-known tutor for upcoming DJ/producers.
Before IMX Projext is made an official project, both of them has been known of doing mind-blowing b2b sets since 2011. Their first b2b set was during their residency at Space Club. And their eclectic b2b sound were slowly being recognized by organizers and bigger gigs ensued, such as TWELVE NYE Party, RISING, TRANCELAND, DASH BERLIN 2013 and many more. And this year, their headlining status at Malaysia's leading festival and clubs is about to get even bigger.
A well known b2b sound with mostly comprising their own productions, remixes, mashups and edits. The biggest production to come out from their oven is definitely IlluminationX. Its being played and recognized by most of the trance acts in Malaysia.
If that wasn’t enough, both of them continues to prove their status as innovators and tastemakers in the scene by also curating releases for their IlluminationX label, and their popular monthly IlluminationX Radio Show.
2015 will take things to even new heights as kick things into high gear with the soon to be released of their biggest track yet – ALOT Anthem – and launch their brand new once a month residency at a reputable club in Kuala Lumpur. Keep an eye on this dynamic duo, as they are set to conquer and 'slay' the trance scene and bring it to another level!
