They embark on a new endeavour in 2024 as the beginning of the year will bring the birth of 'Ecliptic Sound' their own record label. Featuring a variety of both self releases and the works of other artists.

Info: Next up for JUDDER series of singles and EPs — a "FOMO SAPIENS" EP by @Intersecta, a project by Alexey Kalyan that explores various directions in electronic music. His very first release is the result of his long-term passion for underground sound which serves as the debut statement of his long musical journey. Expect five clever cuts of diverse grooves where breakbeat meets electro with a garage tip and blends together in a genre-melting potion. Two slow-paced uncompromising body-movers full of shuffling rhythms, dystopian riffs and ever-enveloping bass intertwine carefully with spacious thought-provoking ethereal soundscapes and Bukem-ish synths lines built around rapid famous old-school breaks.

„Girls Just Wanna Have Fun“ on the A side is a vicious party starter with stomping groove and naughty vocals embracing the good old party fling. On the flip side Noti shows off the darker side of love with „Phase Mistress“. The nasty bassline and rumbling drums give the track a laid back yet mysteriously still forward pushing touch that one could hear looped for ever. The Artwork picture is by Philipp Roth and the release will be out digitally as well as a 25 copy 7" vinyl dubplate edition on 20.9.

We are proud to present ‘Undercurrents’, the third series of compilations featuring artists from the 3024 Mentoring Program.

Started in 2020, the Mentoring Program run by label owner Martyn has become a worldwide online and IRL community of artists sharing resources, ideas and inspiration. This compilation showcases the wide range of fresh and amazing music that is continuously surfacing from the program, unbound by strict genre definitions.

Besides a collection of new music, Undercurrents is also a consideration of what a record label can be in 2024. Whether it’s a platform for repurposing old material, providing daylight for new sounds, artists or even entire communities, or injecting new ideas about authenticity and sustainability into the current of the underground, rather than partaking in the unwinnable race over algorithm dominance. An understated approach for maximum impact.
