MAAKS (Max) is an electronic DJ hailing from the small island of Malta. He's fueled by a deep passion for fast-paced beats and delivering high-energy performances.

Skillfully, he fuses diverse sub-genres of electronic music, fashioning a unique sound that keeps his audience on their toes. 

Though relatively new to the techno scene, MAAKS has been gracing local clubs and events since 2016 (formerly performing under the alias Max Messina). He's rapidly ascending as a star in the world of swift electronic music.

With two decades of experience behind the decks, Sean Rickett is one of Malta's most accomplished and versatile DJs. Known for his ability to seamlessly hop between the different sub-genres of the electronic spectrum and push boundaries in his sets, he's earned a reputation as a true Selekta.

Deeply influenced by UK club culture and all forms of bass-heavy music, Rickett's sets are known for their energetic and unpredictable nature. He has a particular affinity for the sounds and aesthetics of the 90s rave era, incorporating classic acid lines, old-school breaks and driving grooves in a flawless manner.

But Rickett never shies away from a challenge, always striving to push the envelope and break new ground in his sets. With his unwavering approach, he has achieved the highlight of his career so far, delivering an unforgettable Boiler Room performance at Glitch Festival.

As of 2025, Sean became an official member of Acid Night, an event fuelled by four lifelong friends’ shared obsession with underground music. Each bringing their own sound, but the mission is the same - keep it intimate, keep it raw, keep it Acid!!

Finally, as a huge Hip-Hop fan and a sucker for dope beats, Sean can also be found spinning more chilled sets outside of the club, showcasing his diverse and unique range as a DJ.
