In Sanity is a Canadian hip-hop group based in Toronto, Ontario. After releasing a mix-tape a bit more than a year ago, we have finally gotten our first real album together. Looking Back is an introspective journey into our past and present, stepping away from all preconceived ideas about rap and hip-hop and focusing on what made hip-hop so big in the first place: peace, love and having fun. We want to reconnect a broken culture and turn it into something new, more powerful and united.

We wouldn’t be here without all the amazing people who’ve put time and effort into creating this movement with us, thank you so much for believing in us for this long. If you like In Sanity, you can thank Jody Tompkins, for putting as much, if not more, energy into this as we have, getting us recorded with some of the best equipment around, that we otherwise would never be able to afford, his amazing family, dad Terry and brother Cale for being incredibly supportive of us since the beginning, and his mother Lisa Boudreau for providing us with an absolutely mind blowing vocal performance on Sessions. The 5th member of In Sanity is Andre Saleh, thank you for being always being the first one to show us love, and for your incredible work filming, editing and directing our music videos. You’re a true friend, nah fuck that, brother.

Big up Woken and Bernard Brown for standing in a wet tunnel to rapspray our album artwork, and styling the fuck out. Beetone, AKA Combat/Mistmume/Yorkie & B.Double, started in the game late 2008 as an independent artist of which he has remained ever since. Influenced by the late 70's, 80's and 90's hip hop movement, he perfected an original style, of which can be heard today. With his unique style of words, tone of voice, and the ability to change the voice pitch and flow to fit ANY song (this is as well as beat production) Beetone is definitely one to, at the very least, check out.
