Imagine Peanut Butter Wolf, Dam Funk, Prince Paul, Karriem Riggins, Rakaa Iriscience, LMNO, the Cypress Junkies, Jonwayne, & of course, the Beat Junkies all under one roof. It's been a while since I posted up a mix let alone on Soundcloud.

I wanted to bring back a mix series I used to do called "Soundbytes"...and basically, the theme of the mixes are just whatever musical mood I'm feeling at that moment. The last one (Volume 4) was done in 2006...that's like 18 years ago.....sheesh!

With this particular mix, I wanted to revisit the R&B/Soul vibe....some new ones, some somewhat old ones, & some obscure joints that might've pass under the radar. I actually enjoyed making this mix. Since Summer has officially started (June 2024), I think this is a perfect summer mix to bump in the ride while cruising the shoreline, or vibe to it on a nice evening while drinking wine with that special someone.
