CREATOR ; REYNAISSANCE IS AN ARTIST WHO BUILDS HER WORK FROM THE PRODUCTION THROUGH THE ENGINEERING STAGES.

HIGHLY INFLUENCED BY JAZZ, HIP-HOP AND NEO-SOUL R&B, SHE SEEKS TO ENCOMPASS A TRUE EXPRESSION OF HER EMOTIONS THROUGH HER ART. WITH AN AFFINITY FOR THE UPRISE OF CREATIVITY AND PRIDE IN THE 1920’S ; REYNAISSANCE MERGED HER SURNAME (REY)  WITH HER FAVORITE ERA IN CULTURE AND CREATIVE HISTORY (THE HARLEM RENAISSANCE) & HAS CONTINUED TO EVOLVE AS AN EMERGING ARTIST.

Born in Brooklyn , New York & raised between Queens, New York and Miami, Florida, Reyn has a vivid memory of being introduced to the importance of art as a young child. Born into a family of educators, creative thinkers, music lovers and writers;  she was introduced to multiple styles of art, avid knowledge of culture and a range of musical genres.

A student of Jazz from the age of 8, Reyn dreamt of a musical career before delving into an interest in Conscious Art and Spoken Word Poetry. Her exposure to the music of Hip Hop artists such as Tupac, Billie Holiday, Sade and Lauryn Hill, would grow to shape her interest in pursuing a life devoted to the arts.

Inspired by social works of multiple artists , a desire for purpose to serve her community and a hunger to create ( and hear ) substantial depth ; Reyn began an educational career on path to study Audio Production & Engineering.

Reynaissance seeks to inspire a generation of artists to create with integrity and pay homage to legendary  creators through work that promotes peace, evolution, enlightenment & love.

Reynaissance is a student of the arts  & currently skilled in Production, Engineering, Singing, Lyricism, Creative Writing , Song Writing, Prose, Spoken Word and Rapping.
