Returning to DFTD for their second outing are Finnish DJ / producer duo Humanoid Target Practice. Known for their blend of industrial elements with a straight forward techno to create dark and hypnotic yet hard driving sets.

The duo has been running monthly radio show ‘Incendiary’ since 2023 at the Helsinki based community radio Ida Helsinki. After the start of the show Incendiary grew fast to a club concept that has been taking over venues such as Kaiku, Ääniwalli and Lepakkomies to name a few. The duos long time dream to take things even further happened recently when the first release of Incendiary saw the light of the day.

”Autumn for us is a special time of the year; a time to pause. The melancholy starts to creep in with the ever-darkening evenings, but there’s something beautiful in it. Instead of giving in to the dimming days, it’s time to embrace the gloom.

To set your mind, we have prepared 66 minutes of audio recordings from the past six decades: soundscapes, guitars, obscurities, rattling snares, organs, echoing voices – fast, slow, and everything in between.” That’s how Paavo and Miska describe the mix. Lovely.
