Incendie is the solo moniker of Arthur Bdt, a Berlin-based producer, DJ and Area Z’s manager. After releasing his debut album via UndermyFeet. in 2021, along with contributions to several V/A compilations and collaborative projects, he recently presented his first club oriented EP ‘One Cursed Dance’, via aufnahme+wiedergabe. 

His sound is characterized by a fusion of club music together with metal and industrial influences, conveying dark and introspective atmospheres without restricting to a specific musical genre. 

In this set for Gwi Myeon podcast series, Incendie displays his musical inclinations towards cinematic and ritualistic techno with hints of post-metal, rap and rhythmic noise.

FLUX Musical Art - CONNECTIONS PART II - 02 

FLUX was started approximately ten years ago as a webzine, which later on started to explore several other fields: radio broadcasts collaborations, fanzines (together with She Lost Kontrol) and recently a record label.

Similarly to what done for the first chapter of CONNECTIONS, which has been the first FLUX Musical Art release, also this time the tape includes twelve songs composed by artists we've been in contact with and we particularly appreciate. With most of them, we have created long term physical connections.

CONNECTIONS PART II (Ten Years Of FLUX Webzine) is the demonstration that we'll keep on writing articles and releasing music for a long time.

Ghosts In The Walls

The second release from experimental arts collective Under My Feet. comes from Incendie – the solo moniker of Berlin-based multimedia artist Arthur Bdt.

Known for his work as part of various collaborative projects such as ATT Corp (with Templer), Human Spine, and Axes of Fire, ‘Relief’ is Bdt’s debut album, and acts as a musical diary used to express and accept his feelings; marked by grim and abrasive sonics, this work and its composition are based around the need to face fears and uneasy emotions. Merging contemporary electronic music with metal and noise influences, Incendie defines the sound of the record through the blending of drone, industrial and deconstructed club sounds with heavy guitar and vocals.

Modern Bön : We are delighted to present the fourth and final part of our VA, which we chose to dedicate to the most heavy and thunderous sounds between all its contributions.

This 4th chapter is named after the result of the whole meditative practice: the awakening of the inner roborant energy which rises from Manipura Chakra and gives new life and awareness: Urdva Kundali.

As the representation of this energy is a fiery serpent which sleeps in the depths of our most hidden spiritual side, we wanted to give space, on this part, to the most abrasive and harsh sounds, yet mystical pregnant, hence we collected here all the most industrial-driven tunes, as a heavy, thunderous yet spiritually fueled crown to this first collaborative work under the sign of Modern Bön.

Like the Black Death that ravaged the old continent in the 14th century, Rapture's new album portrays the spread across Europe of a shadow in the form of sound waves.

The compilation will feature the presence of two Khidi residents, OTHR and Unhuman, as well as Incendie and Notausgang from France and the Portuguese EMMA.
