A True Terror Corporation
"Pyrène"

Templer and Incendie present ‘Pyrène’, their first release through A True Terror Corporation, a project the duo started around cathartic improvised sessions and a will to express themselves freely in their intentions. Inspired by early industrial bands, they developed their sound with references to noise, ritual and metal, incorporating modern instruments in the process.

The four tracks included in the EP are cuts originating from two improvised live sessions, then slightly edited from the recording. They explored different stories and imageries melting guitars, modular synthesizer, contact microphones and processed vocals.

For their debut EP, the duo worked around the spirit of the Pyrénées, mountains close to our hometown which fueled their minds and wanders to this day. To support this heritage, they included some of the legends associated with the area.

Additional info on the mythology :

Pyrène is associated with a myth where she gave birth to a snake before being eaten by wild animals. Hercules would have created these mountains to create her grave, and from where she rose as a fire on multiple events. Millaris is the figure of a priest that aged to his nine hundred and nine’s birthday, when the first ever snow fell on the Pyrénées, and with his death arose a new age upon the mountains. Basa Andere is an ambiguous figure pre-dating christian times, which held protection to nature and helped humans, yet she remained worrying at all times. Drac is a recurring creature referring to a devil spirit and associated to the danger of waters. While often described as a dragon, it shift shapes through the versions and ages.

Modern Bön : We are delighted to present the fourth and final part of our VA, which we chose to dedicate to the most heavy and thunderous sounds between all its contributions.

This 4th chapter is named after the result of the whole meditative practice: the awakening of the inner roborant energy which rises from Manipura Chakra and gives new life and awareness: Urdva Kundali.

As the representation of this energy is a fiery serpent which sleeps in the depths of our most hidden spiritual side, we wanted to give space, on this part, to the most abrasive and harsh sounds, yet mystical pregnant, hence we collected here all the most industrial-driven tunes, as a heavy, thunderous yet spiritually fueled crown to this first collaborative work under the sign of Modern Bön.

A True Terror Corporation - Perseverance [Mutant Modality]

Today we're introducing you to a collaborative project between Blime Dust (Hugues Dop) and Incendie (Arthur Bdt). 

Based in Berlin, Voidance Records will release the french band's eponymous debut album in CD and digital formats on March 22, 2024.

The duo, who have been creating music together since high school, have evolved over the years from rock to post-hardcore and finally to a mix of post-metal and electronic industrial music. After their first release with the track 'Abyss' in 2019 on the Modern Bön label's Urdva Kundali compilation series, this present album testifies to their evolution as artists.

In their collaborative project, they explore the immersive sound influences of bands such as Cult Of Luna, Neurosis and AmenRa, mixing in parallel dystopian soundscapes shaped by our society's relationship with technology, drawing inspiration from bands such as Author & Punisher, The Body and Godflesh.

Elaborated and developed over three years, Human Spine's debut album fuses the primitive energy of post-metal with the coldness of industrial influences, offering a fresh perspective on the post-metal scene, balancing meticulous sound design with raw, human elements.

Blind Delon was founded in 2016 by Mathis Kolkoz, a French artist who draws his energy from coldwave and synthwave references channeled through the use of ancient synthesizers, icy bass lines and black romanticism, all combined with a raw elegance and melancholy.

Discipline - Blind Delon’s first album features a stunning sound design, laced with dark energy and a daring lyricism. The album, although written and composed by the band, is an all star collaboration with Kris Baha, Lapse Of Reason, Incendie, I Hate Models, and others.

Previously released as a six track album on CD format by Unknown Pleasures this new vinyl pressing features the four dance floor oriented tracks from the album.

Prague collective Wrong is proud to present first solo release in their catalogue by Prague-based French producer Léo Hivert aka The Undertaker's Tapes. His debut album On the Last Day on Area Z label followed by several remixes and contributions to various compilations made him one of the most promising upcoming producer within the EBM and industrial scene. Autolysis is the first in planned series of recordings exploring theme of body and decay. It serves as the opening act focusing on cellular auto-destruction which comes as a mirror to the introspectional work that we have been put through during these doomed times. The Undertaker’s Tapes brings here doze of destruction in diverse approaches: from angry industrial through EBM dance-floor killers to noisy melancholia. 6 original tracks are accompanied by ritualistic heavy collaboration with French producer Incendie and four remixes delivered by EBM machinery Mind Matter, rising Czech techno madman C4AT and two members of Wrong collective HYΛEN and Trauma.
