High Park Funk’s new “Permeate Tape" on Blaq Numbers is the third instalment of tape-based funk from the Scottish funkster known locally as Tesko. This one has some heavy features. Two of Scotland’s jazz cats, Matt Carmichael on tenor saxophone and Ewan Hastie on slap bass. Modern Funkateers Brett Eclectic and Duktus both on some silky remixes and a vocal feature from Bay Area rhymer Nico Fasho.
