Fleeting impression. The subtle sparks of humor glint here and there as homage to Emilie Chick’s astounding voice that eventually mingles into the echo of the industrial shores the dubstep duo have safely sailed us to.

EP contrasté, sombre et solaire. DJ Mr Fish inaugure les festivités avec son interprétation intense, obsessionnelle et tribale de “Rough Times”, suivi de Senbeï (aka The Kid et moitié de Tha New Team) qui nous plonge progressivement dans les marécages inquiétants de son remix dubstep de “Scholarship” juste avant que DOT ne nous ramène précipitamment à la surface pour une bonne bouffée d’air frais. Avec l’imprévisibilité d’un enfant terrible, il métamorphose “Weird Enough” en hymne électro joyeux et survolté, mais on est pris de court par la beauté majestueuse des limbes hantées dans lesquelles l’interprétation très personnelle de Charles Webster de “Scholarship” nous hypnotise ensuite. Le sentiment de poser le pied sur une terre familière en découvrant Silent Frequencies, les derniers invités de cet EP n’est qu’impression passagère. Les subtiles étincelles d’humour scintillent ici et là en hommage à la voix hallucinante d’Emilie Chick qui finit par se fondre dans l’écho des plages industrielles vers lesquelles le duo dubstep nous aura ramenés sains et saufs.
