MIX 040 - Brussels born bad internet (@nolicense) has spent the past year establishing himself in London co-running his record label & event collective @lbmldn. Despite maintaining distinctly European techno and electro roots, his work reflects a passion for all percussion heavy & bass weighty genres. Particularly influenced by Jungle, UK techno & funky, he showcases his fusion during his monthly shows on Aaja and Longthrow Radio. His infectious, high energy has seen him support major names in the scene and provided him previous international gigs in the Netherlands and France.

Our inaugural mix comes courtesy of Incognito’s own raconteur, Banzai. His multi-faceted approach to mixing never fails to provide a plethora of vibrant sounds, ranging from organically harvested club cuts to clinical lab-grown percussion. 

Banzai throws out any notion of genre singularity - igniting together disco edits, old skool rave classics, and turbulent club tracks on a chaotic and rapturous journey.

Introducing the next tale in our mix series, courtesy of Prom Essen. 

A stalwart for Reading’s underground scene, he can’t disappoint behind the decks, never failing to fully entrench himself into the mix. Here Prom Essen reaches out to all, fusing fibrous club bangers with sure-fire abrasive slammers. His no-frills attitude in the mix sets the pace for a raucous transit through euphoria to complete fulfilment. Hands and feet inside the ride please.

BREAKING NEWS! The Extraterrestrial '@Spectrohead' has landed and wants to invade your eardrums and take your job with this new exclusive Incognito mix! 

Beginning with some soft melodic vocals, it ascends into a minimal techno beat with a variety of progressive electronic sounds. Spectrohead's mix continues to grow as the beat pounds harder, the tempo surges and the tunes range wider. Suddenly a new burst of energy is released from an introduction of some more housey vibes, before an explosive series of syncopated rhythms, grizzling drum tracks and indulging noise configurations. 

Here you have what can only be described as a meaty collection of soundscapes that create a devastating yet diverse and vibrant meal for the listener to consume.
