Hello… thanks for dropping by. This song is a loud, electric-slide song. It has overdriven slide, some homemade (learning how to:no drum kit) percussion, a vocal harmony and gravely vocals. I am happy I am able to do this at all, at 68 years of age… especially singing, which greatly wanes with age. (I really just started to sing within the last decade or so.) Traveling On… may be seen as a metaphor, or not, it doesn’t really matter. It might signify personal change or a movement toward and/or away from something. There is a hint of recognition, insofar as the unwavering essence of who we are… There is a suggestion of working toward peace. Again, this could be seen as metaphorical, in a sense of personal introspection. What do we espouse, condone and accept in this life for ourselves and society? Do you want to ‘Travel On’? This is a song I had to write . My wife of 30 years Gill has a rare condition which has made me her main carer , we used to be party people , but sadly that is no more . Going out is such an effort as she has lost the sense of balance , there is no cure , and it's getting worse !
So I do music when I can slot it in around caring for Gill , but I love her and I will continue to care for her , hence the song title ! But on the plus side we do laugh a lot , we always have .
Phew , that's the sad stuff out of the way ! Next up is me and Kim with a dark gothic rocker closely followed by me , Dave Cooper and Axel Menningen with a country classic , then me and Gaz Brownie with a belter , and loads more to follow !

I wanted something fun and uptempo for my album that always seems to be one song away from complete 🫢  A while ago I was going through some health issues and I purchased a pill box for all the drugs I was taking and I thought this could turn into a good song idea.  I dusted off the banjo and mandolin for this lol.  New mic has arrived and I quickly recorded the vocals after spending the week on the other stuff.  It's a demo as I know it might need better mixing, singing, playing etc etc....

P.S Re-recorded vocals.. sounded like Calamity Jane!!! 😱
