This composition attempts to convey the challenges of memory recall from a fleeting thought that occurs during conversation to cognitive impairment not uncommonly experienced at elderly stages of our lives.

The piece starts in AbMinor and moves to Gb Major with modulations and chromatic movement.

The first section is played slowly without tempo.   

The second upbeat section uses odd meters, rhythmically subdivided in groups of 2 and 3 beats (for example, 7 beats can played as 2,2,3 and verbalized as "Taka Taka Takata").  Bpm is 110 with the 16th as the note value.  Signatures are as follows: 14/16, 4/16, 14/16, 4/16, 12/16, 13/16, 7/16.

Final section repeats the first melody but played in odd meters similar to the above.
