The Golden Years of hard trance are exemplified here. 1999-2003. Nothing surpasses this sound - the kicks, the bass, the entire vibe - and it becomes even more remarkable if you experienced it firsthand. I remember venturing out in 2004 and discovering hard trance clubs such as Bass Station, Hard Kandy, and Pharmacy (my favorite). This was the defining sound, still vividly etched in my mind today.

Scot Project - We Rave You Classic Rave Mix Marathon

This was the set I performed at the Ideal Tidy Weekender in April 2014. The set theme was the History of Hard Trance. Rather than try to do an extensive run through an hour's worth of the history in order, I simply picked my favourite hard trance tracks from the years. A lot of these were tracks which were instrumental to me wanting to produce the sound. I also played three of my own productions, two old ones which I felt really made an impact for me, and also my latest brand new track 'Rollcage' to finish. It was one of the most enjoyable sets I've played in so long, was a different spin for me and meant a lot to play all these amazing records. I hope you enjoy the free download!

With the Hard Trance Master hitting Barry Town for the WRONGUNS crew come March 7th, I have put together this promo/tribute mix featuring all MY personal fav tunes, old & new, by the main man himself.

Even though it was nostalgic to hear the crackle of the vinyl and the ‘beats bouncing off each other’ - I tell ya what - beat matching some of those wavering vinyl rips, in my style of mixing, was a right old effort! But I got It done, as I wanted to do as I do - and put out an authentic representation of me too.

So, I hope that, in the effort,  I have done Frank, the Tunes and your memories justice.
