My decks were stolen in Feb 2022 and I am still gutted and always will be but an amazing group of people including a lot I don't know personally managed to raise the funds to buy me a new pair thanks to my wonderful partner in crime for finding a great replacement pair, after a nightmare time with the insurance company bastards.  

Here is a mix of 40 tunes I love from the good old days of trance influenced by old crasher albums and my time at Godsktichen 97-2003 (the best era imo in particular 98/99) exactly a year after it all happened.

Trance Addicts Sunday #36 Live Twitch Stream (Vinyl Only)

The Marathon was a roller skating rink annex dance venue in the Dutch city of The Hague, which was set up in the late 1940s by the Ooms family at the end of the De Savornin Lohmanlaan, and at the foot and behind the dunes of The Hague. In The Hague, for example, there was a roller skate hockey rink in the Zuiderpark and one at the end of the Leyweg where the Q65 often performed (the Eekhoorn).

The Golden Earrings often performed in the Marathon. The Marathon was their home base. In 1972 the Marathon moved to the Wijndaelerweg (Ockenburg). There it kept the name Marathon until the second half of the nineties. Then the then owner (Frans Winterswijk) stopped it. It was briefly called Dance Parliament.

Not long after Winterswijk rented it out to the previous owners of discotheque Asta, Winodj and Kevin. They renovated the tent and called it Intenz. When this also came to an end, Coen Bom and Rob Velders (the other operators of the Asta) stepped in. Under the name '«O»', the discotheque continued as a dance club on the Wijndaelerweg, although many continued to describe the '«O»' as "the former Marathon" for many years.

After the '«O»', the existence of the disco on the Wijndaelerweg became somewhat unclear. As Celebration Studios, it became more of a party rental business. In 2005, the property was renamed Fantasy Dance Theater. After the bankruptcy in 2006, there were two attempts to squat the building. Since 3 January 2009, the building has been inhabited by Rotterdam squatters. The building was demolished in April/May 2016.

What an outstanding event and an remarkable venue!! We played in the basement of the castle, "Der Burgkeller". It was absolutely massive, in every possible way... especially the tremendous bass sound and the vibe :-O

Some of you might have known about a secret London party that used to run in the city called Planet Angel. Main room hosted trance and I was lucky enough to DJ for many years at this event which hosted such names such as Will Atkinson, Lisa Loud, Neal Scarborough, Sly One vs Jurrane, Custard, James Rae and more. 

On the very rare occasion the night was recorded (sets weren't recorded much back then) this became a favourite with people. So putting it back up for all to enjoy.
