Moodyverse is a newly formed label based in Bratislava. It is set to bend the musical universe by providing a soundtrack to a timeless journey through space and time. Transformed from an event series, the label's target is to release contemporary electronic music carefully crafted and selected for the dance-floor. Expect hefty grooves combined with soul-seeking melodies and join us on a journey through our universe. The debut release comes with 2 originals by label founder Denes Toth, spiced up with an impressive remix by Yubik. Endeavour captures the attention by introducing new elements every few bars, betting on a twisty arpeggiated melody to take you all the way to the cathartic breakdown, which elevates the vibe into a dark repeated lead parade. Tested by industry heavy-weights and destined for peak-time dance-floors, it's a must in every playlist …and it even has UFO sounds in it! Yubik's take on Endeavour brings in more feelings and an even more direct approach to the dance-floor. Starting off with mystical vocal inserts and Yubik's signature drum hits, the groove transports you to a transcendent, more heart-warming breakdown. …and it doesn't stop there. The drop gets your feet moving by bringing in spicy elements one by one to make your heart beat to the impressive kickdrum. Hlavolam's naughty rhythm makes your ear worms wanna dance by constantly switching different percussive elements and bringing in other-wordly sounds to prepare you for what's coming next. The sneaky arpeggiator takes you on an unexpected journey through voices of mystical creatures to meet the main character of the track: a glitchy, yet steady bass sound, which makes the drop audible even in space. Then we get a repeat of all elements joining to make yet another snare-roll fuelled breakdown to make sure the track ends in style. The journey begins here. The third track on the latest Stavroz EP is a captivating collaboration featuring Brussels-based pianist, producer and sound designer, Poltrock. In this mesmerizing composition, a combination of ethereal-sounding synths and duduk are combined with ghostly high-pitch distortions. Despite a backbone of muffled beats, the tune has vaporous qualities, reverberations that wobble and tinkle into space – it’s an easy listening experience but in a trippy, spaced-out way.

This musical direction exemplifies the essence of Stavroz's artistic philosophy, encapsulated in their motto: "We're trying to go for the sweet spot between the couch and the club." This approach has become a hallmark of the band's style, seamlessly blending elements of relaxation and danceability to create a unique and entrancing sonic experience that resonates with a diverse audience.

On deck for today’s premiere, comes in the form of the French duo, Atomic moog and a debut release on the ever proper Delsin imprint and their Cameron series. The four tracker, “Programm” shows off their discerning take on techno with a stripped back yet powerful approach to crafting their modular rhythms. Our focus lands on the final track of the EP as our love for B sides never wavers.

Computer is a broken beat roller that rounds out the release, giving those head down, serious dancing vibes, the percussion bouncing around a raucous, undulating synth for the first half of the track before switching into a half-time ‘esque tempo for the remainder that adds a nice auditory break from similar sounding four on the floor tracks. Computer would be perfect for any opening set for that switch into high gear.

Programm along with Computer will be released out into the world on the 8th of December on Delsin.

Munich based IO records is rounding out 2023 in style with their final release of the year, ‘Cold To The Touch’ by audiovisual artist, Anthony O, aka Tenzia. As the label writes, “Anthony O, is a professional artist and music producer with a background in traditional and digital art.The focal point of the Tenzia project is to overcome conventional thought patterns and genre boundaries. It explores the intersection of opposites, engaging with the interplay between the aesthetic and the grotesque, organic and inorganic, positive and negative, both visually and acoustically.”

Keeping in line with these themes, ‘Epiphany’ is a wonderfully unique entity. Defying any attempt to classify it, the track carries several different feelings depending on which voice or element your mind focuses on. Rolling percussion pings around, giving an almost dub or deep bass vibe, while the pads and flashing synths evoke dark, atonal techno moments. Combined, it’s like a mental breath of fresh air that breaks all molds.

Epiphany and the rest of Tenzia’s EP will be released into the world via IO on December 13th.

In 2023, he launched a new podcast called 'Anhera', featuring DJs and producers sharing unique stories during full moons or solar eclipses. His tracks were released on respected labels in 2024, reflecting his shift in focus.
