Aedi Records is a collective record label that unites over 250 electronic music producers and enthusiasts—founded by Michel Iseneld, father of Hypnus Records.

Together we have shaped every aspect of the imprint during a systematic process of democratic discussions, idea submissions and votes.

We learn and explore the fields of electronic music production collectively. By sharing our minds in an inclusive environment, we grow both as individuals and a group simultaneously.

This compilation contains the first musical harvest of our creative quest, featuring eight tracks made by 14 producers collaborating for the first time.

We have a lot more in store and feel excited to explore this new way of collectively learning and sharing music beyond the traditional record label format.

IV was made by the Aedi network in December 2020 as an experiment in creative minimalism.

Each track was made using only four audio channels with one sound source each. 24 contributions were submitted and anonymously voted down to 6 by the over 200 producers on the label.

The rules were:

" Your project should only have four channels with one sound source each.

- Return tracks do not count as a channel.
- Group buses do not count as a channel.
- Parallel processing is allowed.
- Drum & Instrument Racks are > not < allowed.
- Effects Racks are allowed.
- Outboard gear is permitted as long as you use only four sounds in total.

Example: kick, snare, hat, and tom from a 909 count as four sounds."

In the second week of 2023, Worg returns to release duties with Il Piano di Medea EP on Lykos Records. Having as inspiration the quest of Jason and the Argonauts, the narrative expands in three original tracks while it also includes a remix by Neel. From those parts of the mythical journey, as envisioned by Worg, we would like to present the premiere of Il Vello D'Oro. Praising the divine radiance emanating from the Golden Fleece with its grainy texture, the track bathes under its purifying energy. The steady percussion pace provides a sense of purpose and commitment, as did the mythical hero when he set sail to obtain this artifact. With the creation of a constant "buzzing" and the invocation of some strict and heavy bassline, the dense textures form a strong enough foundation to uphold the epic proportions of such an expedition. In addition to the premiere, we talked to the producer about his background and the upcoming release.

Deep Electronics # 376 - Martin Jarl

Accents Records releases a V/A album compilation that features artists such as Emika Elena, Moon Patrol, Artos Eleven, Nils Edte, Sub Accent, Mateo Hurtado, Laima Adelaide, Atomic Moog, Diffused Signal, Toki Fuko and many others. The album is a kind of state of the art, a mapping of the contemporary deep experimental and techno music scene. This musical work is without any doubt the most consequent and ambitious release of the label. It is a question here of showing through nearly 2h30 of music the beauty and diversity of the current musical scene, of what it has of specific, here and there, through the glances of artists from all over the world, emerging or now known, women and men. Monument premieres the Diffused Signal`s track "Rod" from the release, that will be released on the 3rd of April.
