Jungle Electronica is a sonic odyssey inspired by the worlds around us, so remote by their wild, hermetic states, such as deserts and jungles. The listener plunges into the intimacy of these great spaces, where life abounds without the claw of civilisation, and where the interactions of the living are interpreted by music.

Through the prism of electronic signals and machines, acoustic instruments join the story. We find djembe, darbouka, bongos, Jew's harp, verrillion, saxophone, snare drum and a multitude of objects recorded, played and struck.

Indefinite Pitch PREMIERES. Rainsoft - Fog [GSXS]

On deck for today’s premiere, comes in the form of the French duo, Atomic moog and a debut release on the ever proper Delsin imprint and their Cameron series. The four tracker, “Programm” shows off their discerning take on techno with a stripped back yet powerful approach to crafting their modular rhythms. Our focus lands on the final track of the EP as our love for B sides never wavers.

Computer is a broken beat roller that rounds out the release, giving those head down, serious dancing vibes, the percussion bouncing around a raucous, undulating synth for the first half of the track before switching into a half-time ‘esque tempo for the remainder that adds a nice auditory break from similar sounding four on the floor tracks. Computer would be perfect for any opening set for that switch into high gear.

Programm along with Computer will be released out into the world on the 8th of December on Delsin.

Munich based IO records is rounding out 2023 in style with their final release of the year, ‘Cold To The Touch’ by audiovisual artist, Anthony O, aka Tenzia. As the label writes, “Anthony O, is a professional artist and music producer with a background in traditional and digital art.The focal point of the Tenzia project is to overcome conventional thought patterns and genre boundaries. It explores the intersection of opposites, engaging with the interplay between the aesthetic and the grotesque, organic and inorganic, positive and negative, both visually and acoustically.”

Keeping in line with these themes, ‘Epiphany’ is a wonderfully unique entity. Defying any attempt to classify it, the track carries several different feelings depending on which voice or element your mind focuses on. Rolling percussion pings around, giving an almost dub or deep bass vibe, while the pads and flashing synths evoke dark, atonal techno moments. Combined, it’s like a mental breath of fresh air that breaks all molds.

Epiphany and the rest of Tenzia’s EP will be released into the world via IO on December 13th.

Laima Adelaide is a composer and electronic music producer. Her music is inspired by nature and its elements like water and air. Also there is influence from Avantgarde music as she has studied classical composition in Stuttgart. 
Noisy Textures, deep hypnotic beats and airy harmony you can find in her music and live performances. She has released on Oslated, Phonotropsimi, Annulled Music and others. 
She has her own label Predawn Records focusing on deep and ambient techno.
