The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
is an Italian-led production with co-producers in Spain, West Germany, and the United States. Most of the filming took place in Spain.

The film is known for Leone's use of long shots and close-up cinematography, as well as his distinctive use of violence, tension, and highly stylised gunfights. The plot revolves around three gunslingers competing to find a fortune in a buried cache of Confederate gold amid the violent chaos of the American Civil War (specifically the New Mexico Campaign in 1862), while participating in many battles, confrontations, and duels along the way. The film was the third collaboration between Leone and Clint Eastwood, and the second with Lee Van Cleef.

And lastly Arutani gives "Arcadia" a whole new rhythm. The change of direction with breaky percussions and sounds of interstellar objects adds even more variety to this EP.

This is probably one of my most involved productions in a while. After creating a first take using predominantly Mellotron elements I built this track up with several layers of synths, string machines, drums and FX. I tried to retain the simplicity of the first version though :) All the parts are there to help guide an audio narrative, or create a sense of evolution in the track.
The tune itself has a sweet sadness to it which the Mellotron seems to thrive one, and when I first put this together it reminded me of, or suggested the film "Silent Running". Thats kind of where the title came from, albeit loosely.
It also rounds off a trio of tracks started with "Beyond The Infinite", so I guess this could be the Trumbull trilogy, after the FX maestro :)
