For our second podcast of the year we the have french producer and dj Solarythm. Hailing from the psychedelic trance scene under the same moniker he's been one of the young and most promising up&coming artists these past years, both within realms of psy-trance as well as hypnotic techno. We're very appreciative he's been expanding his vision and to have him onboard for the Navigare Audio podcast. 

"I’m super happy to share this Journey on Navigare Audio which is a very inspiring podcast series for me. 
Initially coming from a psytrance background, with this set I wanted to represent the common roots and similitudes that shares trance and hypnotic techno together. This selection is made by deep, powerful, driving and atmospheric tracks with a little touch of oldschool progressive trance and almost goa at some points. Navigare 015 - Solarythm

The navigation continues as the label manager of Navigare Audio combines his knowledge of music with his passion for nature and creativity. The driving force behind the label's graphical aesthetics, and with his roots in the downtempo/-ambient and psychedelic trance scene. Here he presents a deep wide-eyed radiance; a buoyant, lysergic rite primed for a collective transcendental experience. A noir sense of the abstract blurs the obvious, leaving it to develop its own meaning in the search for one's true inner self. We are honored to have this immense talent on our '23 roster. We glide without gravity through the vastness of space, where time is bended and nothing exists but now and eternity. On this journey, led by our adept Hydrous, we pass through all kinds of sonic entities that can be found in the universe.

Hydrous is a producer and DJ based in Oslo, Norway. He works in the music industry as a sound engineer and musician and has several projects in different styles and expressions, ranging from ambient and psychedelic rock to psy-chill and techno.
In his project Hydrous, the focus and sound is on the hypnotic, psychedelic and atmospheric side of techno. He draws much of his inspiration from nature, especially the Norwegian landscape, and meditative states. These threads of inspiration run through his DJ sets and productions, which can mainly be found on Navigare Audio, where also his next EP will see the light of day in October 2023.

In his mix for our series, Hydrous opens up a sonic space that organically combines ambient, spherical structures with more hypnotic vibes. But no matter where he sends us aesthetically - every element, whether subtle or excessive, always has its distinct place. Elements that, in their constant repetition, invite you to follow them without any constraint into the realms of infinity.

Just make yourself comfortable, open your ears and join the flight into the deepest parts of our Galaxy.

A member of the collectives Rêves Ephémères and Sub.Conscience, as well as the Funky Freaks Records label, Ben hails from the free party scene. He began producing techno and performing his first hardware live sets at the age of 15.

After discovering Psytrance in 2010, he diversified his creations with a psychedelic trance project and became co-manager of Funky Freaks Records in 2013. Passionate about music and its dissemination, he explores various musical universes in his DJ sets, blending techno, chill out, tribe, and incorporating ethereal, danceable, and hypnotic sounds.

Monochrome presents, 𝖍𝖎𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖑𝓥 : Iffie, Into The Abyss.

This winter, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Iffie is a dj and project currator based in Athens.
Her sound explores dark and deep elements with an affinity for modern techno. She loves making her sets as cohesive as possible, intertwining various genres by leaving no room for sudden transitions.
She has established her own Podcast Series called Into The Abyss.

Following the success of the first V/A for Palestine, the catastrophic situation and the explicitly genocidal intent of the conflict have made it obvious that we must continue to collect donations for the Palestinian cause. Once again, 19 artists from the techno and ambient scene volunteered to make a difference with their art.

All the money raised by the sale of the V/A will be donated to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, an association working to provide medical and humanitarian care for Palestinian children who are specifically targeted in this colonial war.

May our music and art spread the humanity our governments take away.
