웃 As first release for Wintuwa Records we present artist I'm Mady and it comes with intention and warmth. His new EP 'Fühl Dich Frei' feels like a slow exhale at sunrise. It blends hand-crafted organic elements with electronic rhythms that guide rather than rush. A ritualistic tension is woven through the tracks, as if an old path is being walked again with fresh footsteps. Earthy textures mingle with clean, modern grooves to create a sound that is both grounded and free. The whole release opens a space where letting go and arriving happen simultaneously.

Thales has played at many places in London, such as Werkhaus, playing for Minimal Force, throwing his own techno parties at Union, The Cause, Egg Club, just to name a few. Bioacoustic signals transpire through speakers like a vapor, encompassing us in an entirely new ecosystem of sound. Such is the sensibility of the artist Dérive and their label Muzan Editions, a Japanese imprint focused on the lushest and most meditative forms of ambient music around. Formed by three friends in Nara and Osaka, the label has since made a name for itself by showcasing immensely talented Japanese musicians such as H Takahashi, Chie Otomi, and Cheekbone. Stemming from the Japanese word Muzan, which is written "夢山" and translates to "dream mountain", the ethos of the label is that of unyielding tranquility, an embrace of the impalpable, the worlds within worlds. 

Keep an ear out for some new music coming soon from Unrush founder Mareena and JakoJako on Muzan Editions, expertly mixed by Dérive in this thoroughly engaging winter edition...

Before entering the world of Techno and Ambient, he experimented with a variety of different genres, so he includes a big palette of the best qualities out of his experience in his tracks.

For the 31st episode of our podcast series, we are happy to feature our Paris-based resident duo: Elek Ember.

This modular/analog gear live act experiments between drone ambient, deep techno and experimental sounds. They created a special journey between cosmic sounds and dark vibes - enjoy!

ELEK EMBER is a Techno Experimental duo based in Paris, composed of Emilie Zawadzki and Sigolène Valax. Through their live A/V performance, their musical approach develops an immersive polyphonic experience, between an energetic musical journey and some hypnotic glitchy visual projections.

By improvising experimental materials on their analog instruments, drum machines and modular systems, they explore different sound universes between drone oscillations, abstract noise, synth pads and techno rhythms. With their electronic beats and organic pulses, they create a suspended irrational space, where melodies and dissonant frequencies are organized in temporal micro layers.

Since their creation in 2017, ELEK EMBER has performed in Berlin at Griessmuehle, in London at the New River Studio, and in Paris at La Station Gare des Mines, La Maison des Métallos, Les Instants Chavirés, as well as at the French research center for acoustics sounds IRCAM, at the Sonic Drawing Festival and Nuit Blanche 2020.
They are currently in residency at Mains d’Oeuvres (Paris) for one year (20/21) for working on the project Forest Lab 360°.

Lindsey Wang, also known as Polygonia, is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her preceding intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital musical language. She creates mystic, deep and hypnotic soundscapes in which digital and acoustic elements are fused.

Together with Dycide and MTRL she founded the Ambient and DeepTechno Label IO.

Ben Cyan is a London-based DJ. He's been a life long techno lover since the mid 90s and discovered electronic music through attending free parties and warehouse raves as a youth - before he was old enough to get into clubs even. It was sounds from this era & early parties that shaped his musical direction - influences from techno (detroit/uk/berlin), 90s psy trance, dub, acid, electro and jungle. He's been collecting vinyls on and off for 20 years. Over the last 5 years, Ben has taken a more singular approach and been focusing on deep and hypnotic techno which enabled him getting stuffs done and shaping his DJ identity. The result led him to his monthly podcast series - Kaibosh :  a physical, spiritual and psychedelic quality that takes you on a trip and helps you escape from everyday life.
