Duo Odio is an avant-garde musical project formed in late 2016 by Chileans Pablo Cornejo and Rodrigo Arriagada within the chaotic process of the LEM (Musical Experimentation Laboratory) project developed at Concepción, Chile, and which also involves the projects Cafeina Kid, Unknown Dancer, Garay Palma, La Orquesta Flotante and Onlyone. It has aesthetic influences from sampling, sound art, noise, ambient and concrete music that includes new approaches of composition and ways of conceiving music.

Seguimos fuera de nuestras fronteras y vamos hasta la ciudad de Turku (Finlandia) en busca de nuestra invitada, Dora Gray.

Descubrir a Dora Gray y no poder dejar de escuchar sus sesiones fue todo uno. Electro, Techno, Breaks, House o IDM muy bien seleccionado son su seña de identidad, eso sí, todo bien rociado de 303, y es que el ácido la acompaña allá donde va. Dora Gray es una apasionada de la música desde bien pequeña y lleva 15 años comprando discos, investigando estilos y puliendo su técnica a los platos, todo ello la ha convertido en una Dj metódica, precisa y con un discurso musical muy serio y elaborado. 

Es parte activa del colectivo The X-Rust Organization (Turku) cuya filosofía no es otra que mostrar y apoyar la escena local mediante una serie de podcast y eventos musicales de alto nivel.
Dora Gray es sin duda una de los nuestros y estamos muy orgullosos de contar con ella en nuestra serie de podcast.

Para esta ocasión Dora Gray nos trae un set en clave Electro con muchas texturas y mezclado con mucha clase y una técnica magistral.

Terrain Reduction [G89R010 | G89 Records]

Terrain Reduction is a work inspired by Nicolas Bourriaud’s altermodernist theory. It reflects a similar sound of classic clicks & cuts music of Mille Plateaux, but is structured in a non-linear temporal space. By the use of amalgamate percussions and deep ambient landscapes in some of the tracks, Automatisme tries to make sound space apparent to an accumulation of layers through time, slowly building a topologic archipelago within the multi-temporal universe.

After a three-year hiatus, Mindwaves Music awakens from hibernation and is rebooting with a brand new compilation called “Pnyø”.
Eleven exclusive and previously unreleased tracks, carefully chosen by the labels in-house artist Matilde Møller aka P(h)onyCat, merging between genres such as Ambient, Electronica, Leftfield, IDM and Glitch.

The selected tunes may be diverse in tempo and timbre, but the underlying feeling is melancholic, and imaginative - poetic and delicate. 
Even if "Pnyø" could be characterized as peculiar in part, instead of opting for the obvious straightforward expression, the release comes in an overall laid back vibe, which was compiled for your listening pleasure at home.
