Mind benders, acid trips, tribal grooves and anything in between… Tracks that had been sleeping until now waiting for their moment. They couldn’t just sit there unshared and unused forever.

Dj Datch - Diary of my Misanthropy (Incl. Steve Parker And Ruhig Remixes) [NWRV004]

After the ep Atlantis released in 2019, the producer Dj Datch returns to No Way Records with Diary of my Misanthropy. The ep consists of two original and two remixes entrusted to the expert hands of Steve Parker and Ruhig. The song that gives the EP its name is pure plastic and monolithic techno, where a hypnotic bassline wraps itself sinuously around a martial and pressing rhythm. Steve Parker reinterprets Diary of my Misanthropy giving it less dark shades while preserving the hypnotic ecstasy of the original intact. The nocturnal atmospheres characterize Decompression, according to the original of the ep, where a pad of Morodian memory accompanies a dusty drum machine. Ruhig's remix is ​​an overwhelming surf on the sine waves of an electronic ocean. Diary of my Misanthropy will be available both on vinyl and digitally.

Waters of the North is inspired from a travel experience in northern Norway, on an island called Lofoten. Lush soundscapes resonates on the roads surrounding Timbiquí, a secluded region of the Colombian Pacific coast. Deep and diverse tropical forests, dominated by an Afro culture, that inspire to be explored. Navigate its rivers, hear its tireless rains, breathe its cloudy sunrises, smell its paths, perceive the whispers of nocturnal jungle insects, explore its music, taste its healing drinks and its extravagant meals. The percussions and primitive Bunde songs run through its places full of African energy. Timbiquí EP is an imaginary sonic interpretation by Zemög that worships this inspiring isolated place, mainly for the use of its ancestral plants and herbs.
