Floating Machine is Antonio Lourenço, a Portuguese producer within the experimental ambient techno scope of sounds. He gathered influences from Jazz and Ambient to techno, with Psychedelic and Hypnotic soundscapes. Learned and played regularly instruments like guitar, piano or sax and took part in some experimental projects in distinct areas like jazz, funk or reggae.

Influenced by electronic music, start to produce, exploring these early influences into techno context and also leaning deeply into the palette of ambient experimental sounds. Boom Festival, Hadra, ZNA Gathering, Freedom Festival, are some of the events where Floating Machine has performed.

You can find his music on Bandcamp, or labels as Circular Limited, Aarden Records, Digital Diamonds, Techgnosis, Electrik Dream, Mindspring and Blind Arc. Using music to connect and communicate, taking the listener to adventurous and unpredictable aural journeys is what he is intended with his productions.

Greyscale and the Mood Series has a special collaboration to present to the masses. Two highly skilled, talented and familiar names combine for one great EP. Detroit Side label owner, dj and fantastic producer, Giacomo Pellegrino joins forces with long time Greyscale friend and confidant, Francisco Aguado. Their goal is to take deep techno further into the space. Five extremely flighty and tech cruisers that soar above the dancefloor for the most optimal euphoric rides through the stratosphere. 'Skyline' runs fast with those descriptions. A confident and daring track, the anticipation that it sets edges on extreme. 'The Sky In The Room' is an early setter that builds a vast atmosphere outside the addictive groove. The title track 'The Sky' is sick. Adding a bit of electro and funk to the rhythm. That one will go over great on any dancefloor, day or night. The 'Dub Vision Mix' is a perfect complimentary version of the original depending on the type of set while the 'The Sky In The Room 001' is a more traditional dub techno exploration of the theme. Whichever version you land in chances are you will have this on repeat quite a bit. Mood Series hasn't had many collaborations in the past. This one really has us stroking our chin on the possibilities these two set the bar high for. Mood Series #83 is sure to set your ears on fire!

Eighth episode of NFR series comes from Southern Italy and its produced by artist called Biocym. In his own words he tries to awake emotions with complex textures and atmospheres that are one of the signatures in his music. The main core of his work however focused on achieving the perfect balance between modular gear, sampling and creative use of sounds and noises generated by the nature.
