In Denial were formed in Wolverhampton, West Midlands UK in 2008 by Guitarist/Vocalist Paul J Sippits and then Drummer Wayne Davies.
3 EPs including a live ep were recorded, the self titled demo EP, Inside and Live Inside: Official Bootleg.
A few line up changes over the years with Carl Thomason taking over on vocals with Paul concentrating on guitar, Bassists and 2nd Guitarists come and gone.
In 2014 In Denial went on a Hiatus, with members doing other things. 
in November of 2021 Paul J Sippits bought back In Denial re-recording the self titled debut EP aswell as new stuff with a new EP in works entitled VII.
A track Fragile Heart originally recorded for one of Paul's now defunct project XSR will now feature on the new EP.

MARTYR DE MONA; Louis Hale (Vocals/Guitar), Josh Jones (Guitar/Vocals), Joshua Wooldridge (Bass/Vocals) and Ashley Leatherland (Drums) are currently cracking skulls across the nation with their huge anthemic grunge tinged metal, setting the trend for the next wave whilst tipping an appreciative hat to their illustrious predecessors from the Midlands; BLACK SABBATH & LED ZEPPELIN
‘UNDOUBTEDLY THE MIDLANDS HOTTEST BAND AT THE MOMENT’ (Midlands Rocks)
MDM have cemented their reputation as a class live act since being crowned Wolverhampton LIVE BAND OF THE YEAR in 2007.
MDM released their first EP titled EVA in 2010 to widespread acclaim and gained positive reviews in magazines/webzines such as METAL HAMMER, POWERPLAY, BLACK VELVET MAGAZINE and MIDLANDS ROCKS, whilst gaining airplay on several national radio stations including KERRANG!, TBFM, TOTAL ROCK RADIO and PHOENIX RADIO in the UK and FOX FM in the USA.
The EP proved to be a catalyst for MDM and quickly pushed them onto bigger events with SOLD OUT shows for Kerrang! DJ, ‘Live UK Magazine’ and ‘Pure Rawk’ Promoter of the Year EMMA SCOTT in Wolverhampton and Birmingham and also winning coveted support slots with SONIC SYNDICATE, AMPLIFIER and VOODOO JOHNSON. A full UK Tour followed including headline shows in London, Bradford and Stoke.
In between writing their eponymous debut album released in 2011; the band continued to tour the UK, headlining shows in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Plymouth and Dublin and took part in their first summer festivals. MDM also had the privilege of playing at the Live Forum at the LG ARENA before ALTER BRIDGE.
MDM finished 2011 with the record ticket sales for the year with top Birmingham Promoters Emma Scott Presents and The Catapult Club whilst also earning a nomination for BAND OF THE YEAR at the PURE RAWK AWARDS 2012. The band also recorded their debut video for the single PROTECT WHAT’S YOURS.

Another performance at the LG Arena Forum followed; this time with GUNS N’ ROSES before the band undertook a third UK Tour before the eagerly awaited release of two new singles MEMENTO and CONTAGION in December 2012. MDM were crowned Best British Band at the annual Zing Awards through Amazing Radio beating Heaven's Basement to the accolade, and were also nominated for Best British Band at the TBFM Radio Awards.
MDM spent 2013 writing and recording new music, still finding the time for two more appearances at the LG Arena in support of AVENGED SEVENFOLD and their heroes BLACK SABBATH.
The album IMPERA; Produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Funeral for a Friend and Sylosis) was released on in April 2014 to massive acclaim; peaking at no 8 in the Amazon download charts and receiving outstanding 10/10 reviews from a host of national webzines and a 9/10 review from POWERPLAY. The release was followed by a full UK Tour including a headline show at Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall which saw the band play to more than 800 people; a turnout unheard of for a local self-promoting independent band! The single and video ‘Influence & Persuasion’ achieved heavy rotation on national radio and reached no 24 on KERRANG! RADIO.
MDM then toured the UK with THE MERCY HOUSE, and returned to the Wulfrun Hall to support Grammy Award nominated band Skillet as well as being invited back to Birmingham’s LG Arena Forum to play in support of BLACK STONE CHERRY and SLASH.
In late 2014 MDM decided to become a self-signed band and unleashed their label Eagle Two Records. The album IMPERA is due for re-release on 20th April 2015. The crowds are gathering!








Formerly under my stage name Paul Anthony I decided to resurrect the original project name of State of Mind which I did 20 years ago, but upon finding  half a dozen bands with the same name plus getting confused for Planet Rock DJ  Paul Anthony I decided to credit myself using my Birth name Paul JAS, the latter being my initials of my middle and surname and a new project name of State 747, so all my pre-existing material will now be under the rebranded name.
